Felicity is a British actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at when she was 12 years old and performed in various film and TV plays. Jones first began her acting career through the telefilm The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, she played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch followed by the sequel Weirdsister college. In her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to feature in several movies. It was her performance in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance for her role in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. The biopic is based on the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was lauded by both viewers and reviewers for her impeccable portrayal of Hawking's initial wife. Inferno, which was a Tom Hanks thriller was her future part. Inferno was a thriller starring Tom Hanks. British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones as the British Artist of the Year in 2016 for her remarkable performance and contribution to film.
